   Inspect the rear power lift mechanism for mechanical binding or twisting when the lift reaches its upper range (90–100% lift height)

   Test the power supply to the B031 sensor (should be 8.5 VDC from PCB A013 fuse 14, or 9.5 VDC / 10.0 VDC from ECU A014 depending on generation)

   If the voltage supply is missing or the signal line is interrupted, repair the wiring harness between the B031 sensor (Connector X179) and the Rear EPC module.

   If the mechanical settings are correct, the wiring is intact, and the sensor still outputs an out-of-range signal (or fails to read changes in draft load), the B031 sensor has failed internally and must be replaced.
