Fendt 08.1.49 – Hydraulics / EHR (Electronic Hitch Control) system: Y055 - Rear pressure compensator lock valve

The system has detected a faulty valve. The valve moves to neutral and locks, preventing normal operation of the rear power lift.

   Verify the electrical signal to the Y055 valve with the ignition ON and the engine running.

   Check the wiring harness and connectors for the Y055 valve, specifically Earth pin 22 and connection X1403 / X1459.

   Unlock the EPC on the quick lift switch and check if the rear power lift can be switched from SA to DA on the Vario terminal.

   Perform a hydraulic flow check to verify if the valve is mechanically stuck or if the solenoid coil has failed electrically.

   Locate the Valve

   The Y055 Rear pressure compensator lock valve is located at the rear of the tractor on the rear valve block.

   Access the Block

   Detach the rear cover panel to gain access to the rear valve block assembly.

   Depressurize the System

   Ensure the tractor is turned off, the implement is lowered to the ground, and hydraulic pressure is relieved before opening the circuit.

   Replace the Valve

   Disconnect the electrical harness (connector X1459). Unbolt and remove the faulty Y055 solenoid valve. Install the replacement valve and torque to OEM specifications.

   Reassemble and Clear Codes

   Reconnect the wiring harness, reinstall the cover panel, and use the Vario terminal (or FENDIAS diagnostic tool) to clear the stored 08.1.49 fault code. Test the rear power lift for proper operation.
