Fendt 08.1.51 – Rear EPC (ECU, EPC B (A024)): Left draft sensing pin, rear power lift – Draft sensing pin left overload.

The system has detected that the left draft sensing pin (load pin) is overloaded. This often occurs as a result of twisting or binding in the lifting gear in the upper range (90-100% lift height) due to the mechanical settings being too tight. It can also indicate a signal line fault, a faulty sensor, or a supply voltage issue. Consequence: The system will restrict control quality during traction control, and only position control may be possible.

   Check the rear power lift for physical binding. Ensure the lift is not twisting in the upper range (90-100% lift height) due to overly tight mechanical settings.

   Manually relieve the load on the left draft sensing pin to see if the fault clears.

   Measure the supply voltage to the B032 sensor. Depending on the exact tractor series, the sensor requires a steady supply of 8.5V, 9.5V, or 10.0V (supplied from A013, A014, or A005).

   Verify that the tractor's overall battery voltage is above 11.0V, as low voltage can trigger false EPC faults.

   Check the signal line between the B032 sensor and the Rear EPC module for continuity, shorts to ground, or chafing.

   Adjust Lift Settings

   If the mechanical inspection reveals binding, adjust the rear power lift settings to prevent twisting at the maximum lift height.

   Repair Wiring

   If the signal line or supply voltage fails the diagnostic checks, repair the damaged wiring harness leading to the B032 sensor.

   Replace Sensor

   If the mechanical settings are correct, the wiring is intact, and the supply voltage is within specification (8.5V - 10.0V), the B032 draft sensing pin itself has failed internally and must be replaced.

   Clear Codes

   After replacing the pin or repairing the wiring, use the tractor's terminal or the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to clear the stored 08.1.51 fault code and recalibrate the rear power lift if necessary.
