Fendt 08.1.F6 – A050 ECU (Basic Control Unit): Y077 - EHR cut-off valve, rear: Final stage error (pilot control solenoid valve) / Output stage error.
Issue description
This indicates an electrical failure in the output stage of the pilot control solenoid for the rear Electronic Hitch Control (EHR) cut-off valve. As a safety consequence, the system forces the valve to move to neutral and lock, which disables the rear power lift/hitch.

Check the cause
Visually inspect the Y077 valve on the rear valve block, checking the wiring harness and connector for corrosion, broken wires, or loose pins.
Use a multimeter to check the electrical circuit between the A050 ECU and the Y077 valve for open circuits or shorts to ground/power.
Measure the resistance across the pins of the Y077 pilot control solenoid to determine if it has failed internally (shorted or open coil).
Verify that the valve actuator is not mechanically jammed, which can overwork the solenoid and lead to an output stage error.
Repair steps
Preparation
Safely park the tractor on level ground. Lower any attached rear implements completely to the ground to relieve hydraulic pressure in the rear power lift system. Turn off the engine and remove the key.
Locate the Valve
Access the rear valve block at the back of the tractor. Identify the Y077 EHR cut-off valve.
Disconnect Electricals
Carefully unplug the electrical harness connector from the Y077 solenoid.
Clean the Area
Thoroughly clean the area around the valve block to ensure no dirt or debris enters the hydraulic system during removal.
Removal
Unbolt and remove the rear EHR valve assembly (as per manual procedure 'Removing the rear EHR valve'). Have a catch pan ready for residual hydraulic fluid.
Installation
Install the replacement Y077 valve/solenoid and torque the mounting bolts to OEM specifications (procedure 'Installing the rear EHR valve').
Reconnection
Reconnect the electrical harness to the new valve.
Calibration & Testing
Start the tractor. Use the dashboard terminal or the SERDIA diagnostic software to clear the stored 08.1.F6 fault code. Test the rear power lift through its full range of motion to ensure proper operation and check for hydraulic leaks.
Parts you might need
