Fendt 08.1.F8 – A050 ECU (Basic Control Unit): Y077 [HKH] - EHR cut-off valve, rear (Rear Electronic Power Control / Electronic Hitch Control valve)
Issue description
The valve actuator does not return to its neutral position. The most frequent cause is that the valve actuator mechanically jams (either the pilot control or the main actuator) due to contamination or debris in the hydraulics area. The valve remains deflected when the engine is on. The valve locks, and the pilot pressure is turned OFF by the system to prevent unintended movement.

Check the cause
Check hydraulic fluid quality for dirt, metal shavings, or degraded fluid
Test valve actuation using the tractor's terminal or FENDIAS software to manually command the rear hitch and listen/feel for the Y077 valve
Inspect the Y077 valve block externally for any signs of mechanical binding or damage
Verify if the pilot pressure drops to zero when the fault is active
Repair steps
Depressurize the System
Lower the rear hitch completely to the ground to remove the load. Turn off the engine and cycle the hydraulic controls to relieve any residual pilot pressure.
Locate the Y077 Valve
Locate the rear EHR cut-off valve block (usually situated at the rear hydraulic distribution manifold).
Remove the Valve
Disconnect the electrical harness connector to the Y077 solenoid. Carefully unbolt and remove the cut-off valve actuator from the valve block.
Inspect and Clean
Inspect the spool and the bore for scoring, metal flakes, or debris. If the jam was caused by minor debris, thoroughly clean the valve actuator and the pilot control using hydraulic parts cleaner.
Evaluate for Replacement
If the valve spool is scored, physically jammed, or fails to move freely after cleaning, the valve must be replaced.
Address Contamination
If significant contamination was found in the valve, you must change the hydraulic oil filters and flush the hydraulic fluid to prevent the replacement valve from suffering the same fate.
Reinstall and Calibrate
Install the cleaned or new Y077 valve. Reconnect the electrical harness. Top up hydraulic fluid if any was lost.
Clear Codes
Turn the ignition on, access the fault memory in the terminal, and clear the 08.1.F8 code. Test the rear power lift for proper operation.
