Fendt 08.1.F9 – A050 ECU (Basic Control Unit): Y077 [HKH] - EHR cut-off valve, rear EPC
Issue description
The valve actuator is not in the neutral position when switched on. The system detects that the valve remains deflected when the engine is running, most frequently caused by the valve actuator being mechanically jammed due to contamination in the hydraulics area.

Check the cause
Check the hydraulic oil for debris, metal shavings, or degraded fluid, as contamination is the primary cause of this fault.
Verify the electrical connections to the Y077 valve on the rear valve block to rule out a short or wiring harness issue causing the valve to stay energized.
Manually inspect the Y077 valve actuator to see if the spool is physically stuck or deflected out of the neutral position.
Repair steps
Relieve Pressure
Turn off the engine and safely relieve all hydraulic pressure in the rear power lift / EPC system.
Locate the Valve
Locate the Y077 rear EHR cut-off valve, which is situated on the rear valve block of the tractor.
Remove and Inspect
Remove the Y077 valve assembly. Inspect the pilot control and main actuator for mechanical binding, scoring, or debris.
Clean or Replace
If the jam was caused by minor debris, thoroughly cleaning the valve spool and actuator may free it up and restore function. If the valve is scored, damaged, or remains jammed after cleaning, the Y077 valve must be replaced.
Address Contamination
If significant contamination is found in the valve, you must replace the hydraulic oil filters and flush/replace the hydraulic fluid to prevent the replacement valve from jamming.
Clear and Calibrate
Reinstall the valve, clear the 08.1.F9 fault code via the tractor's terminal or the FENDIAS diagnostic tool, and test the rear hitch operation to ensure the valve returns to neutral properly.
Parts you might need
(1)Y077 EHR Cut-off Valve, Rear (EPC cut-off valve, rear power lift)
Always replace parts with genuine FENDT spare parts. Provide the chassis number when ordering, as the exact valve block configuration varies slightly depending on the specific chassis number and optional auxiliary valves installed.
