08.1.FB

Fendt 08.1.FB – Rear Power Lift (EPC / EHR): Y077 [HKH] - Cut-off valve, rear EPC (EHR cut-off valve, rear)

Issue description

Floating position is not reached, causing the valve to automatically move to the neutral position and lock.

Check the cause

  1. Check hydraulic fluid and filters for contamination or debris, which frequently causes mechanical jamming in the valve actuator.

  2. Inspect the Y077 valve actuator to see if it is mechanically jammed or binding.

  3. Clear the stored fault code (not just from the display) and cycle the system to determine if the floating position failure is a hard fault or an intermittent sticking issue.

Repair steps

  1. Relieve Pressure

Ensure the tractor is turned off, the rear hitch is fully lowered/supported, and all hydraulic pressure in the rear EPC circuit is relieved.

  2. Fluid Inspection & Flush

If hydraulic contamination is found during diagnostics, drain the hydraulic fluid, replace the hydraulic filters, and flush the system to prevent the new valve from suffering the same mechanical jamming.

  3. Remove the Y077 Valve

Locate the rear EHR section control valve block. Disconnect the electrical harnesses to the Y077 pilot/actuator solenoids. Unbolt the valve from the hydraulic manifold.

  4. Install the Replacement Valve

Mount the new or refurbished EHR cut-off valve. Ensure all O-rings on the valve body are renewed and that all mounting bolts are torqued to the exact specification for the housing to prevent internal leaks or spool binding.

  5. Calibration

After replacing hydraulic EPC components, the system may require EOL (End of Line) programming or a hitch calibration routine via the tractor's terminal to relearn the valve's neutral and floating positions.
