The automatic front power lift button located on the multifunction armrest is faulty. The system registers an electrical or signal fault with this specific button, and the consequence is that the fault output is routed via the Teach-In system.

   Check the auto front power lift button on the multifunction armrest for physical damage, sticking, or debris preventing proper actuation.

   Connect the FENDIAS or SERDIA service diagnostics program and use the 'Function test' program to test the functioning of the armrest actuators and buttons.

   Test the A039 MFA using a 160-pin adapter box to verify if the armrest is receiving proper voltage and communicating on the CAN bus.

   Attempt to run Calibration Code 1001 (MFA crossgate lever/armrest calibration). If the MFA is completely unresponsive, the calibration will fail and throw secondary codes (like F01, F02, or F03), confirming a broader issue with the A039 module.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during repair.

   Access the MFA

   Carefully disassemble the A039 multifunction armrest housing to access the internal switch panel.

   Inspect/Replace the Button

   If the auto front power lift button is a modular switch, disconnect its wiring harness and replace the faulty switch. If the button is integrated into the armrest's printed circuit board (PCB) and cannot be serviced separately, the entire A039 MFA unit must be replaced.

   Reassemble and Reconnect

   Reassemble the armrest and reconnect the tractor's battery.

   Clear Fault Codes

   Connect the FENDIAS/SERDIA diagnostic tool and delete the stored 09.1.4B fault code from the A050 Basic Control Unit memory.

   Recalibrate

   Perform the MFA calibration procedure (Calibration Code 1001) to ensure the ECU properly recognizes the new button/armrest inputs.
