Fendt 09.1.A3 – A050 - ECU, basic control unit: Y070 - EHR cut-off valve, front RAM_Test failure

The system has detected an internal memory/RAM test error communicating with or operating the Y070 EHR cut-off valve, front. As a safety measure, the valve automatically moves to the neutral position and locks, turning off pilot pressure and disabling the front power lift functions.

   Check for related A050 basic control unit errors (such as 09.1.A0, 09.1.A1, 09.1.E2, or 09.1.E3) which might indicate a broader ECU or power supply issue rather than a localized valve failure.

   Using a multimeter, measure the current (approx. 1.2 ADC) on pin 52 at the valve connector while attempting to unlock the front EHR to verify the ECU is sending the correct signal to the valve.

   Inspect the wiring harness connecting the A050 ECU to the Y070 valve on the front hydraulic block for chafing, corrosion, or loose pins.

   Preparation

   Park the tractor on a level surface, lower any front implements to the ground to relieve hydraulic pressure, turn off the engine, and disconnect the battery.

   Locate the Valve

   Locate the Y070 EHR cut-off valve on the front power lift hydraulic valve block.

   Removal

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the Y070 valve. Unbolt and carefully remove the valve from the hydraulic block. Be prepared to catch residual hydraulic oil.

   Installation

   Install the new Y070 valve using new O-rings/seals. Torque the mounting bolts to OEM specifications and reconnect the electrical harness.

   EOL Programming

   Connect the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to the tractor, select the front power lift module, and run the EOL programming/calibration sequence so the A050 ECU recognizes the new valve's parameters.
