09.1.E0

Fendt 09.1.E0 – A050 basic control unit: Y070 - EHR cut-off valve, front does not report to the CAN bus

Issue description

The Y070 EHR cut-off valve (front) does not report to the CAN bus (or V-bus). As a safety measure, the valve automatically moves to neutral and locks, disabling the front power lift (FKH).

Applies to these machines

  • 922 Vario COM III
  • 924 Vario COM III
  • 927 Vario COM III
  • 930 Vario COM III
  • 933 Vario COM III
  • 936 Vario COM III
  • Fendt 300 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 400 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 700 Vario (COM III and SCR models)
  • Fendt 800 Vario (COM III and SCR models)
  • Fendt 900 Vario (COM III and SCR models)

Check the cause

  1. Inspect the wiring harness leading to the Y070 valve for breaks, chafing, or short circuits

  2. Disconnect the plug at the Y070 valve and inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or poor contact

  3. Verify that the valve is receiving the correct operating voltage and check associated fuses (e.g., A013, fuse 12)

  4. Test the CAN bus / V-bus communication lines at the valve connector to ensure the A050 control unit is successfully transmitting and receiving data

Repair steps

  1. Preparation

Turn off the tractor engine. Relieve all hydraulic pressure from the system (lower the front power lift and actuate the valves to release residual pressure).

  2. Locate the Valve

The Y070 valve is located on the central valve block, typically on the right side of the tractor (access may require detaching the side panel).

  3. Removal

Disconnect the electrical connector from the Y070 valve. Unbolt and remove the faulty cut-off valve from the central control block.

  4. Installation

Install the new genuine Fendt Y070 cut-off valve. Torque the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specifications and reconnect the electrical plug.

  5. Clear Codes & Calibrate

Turn the ignition on and use the tractor's terminal or the SERDIA diagnostic tool to clear the stored 09.1.E0 fault code. Depending on the tractor model, an End-Of-Line (EOL) programming or calibration routine may be required for the new valve to be recognized by the A050 control unit.

Parts you might need

(1)
  • EHR cut-off valve, front (or Cut-off valve, front power lift enhanced control)

Ensure you are ordering the valve for the 'enhanced control' front power lift (FKH), as standard front power lifts use a different valve setup. Order using the tractor's specific chassis number through the AGCO/Fendt parts catalog (Epsilon).
