Fendt 0A.1.A2 – A050 - ECU, basic control unit: More valves connected than registered via EOL programming
Issue description
A configuration mismatch regarding the tractor's Auxiliary control units. The system has detected that there are more physical hydraulic control valves on the CAN bus network than it has been programmed to recognize.

Check the cause
Verify the actual number of auxiliary control valves physically installed on the tractor (e.g., Y071, Y072, Y074, Y075, Y076, Y078).
Connect the FENDIAS diagnostic tool (SERDIA) and check the EOL (End-Of-Line) programming configuration in the A050 basic control unit to see how many valves are currently registered.
If no new valves were recently added, inspect the wiring harness and CAN bus connections to the auxiliary control valves for short circuits or a malfunctioning valve module broadcasting an incorrect ID.
Repair steps
Update EOL programming
If a valve was recently added, use the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to update the EOL programming in the A050 ECU. Register the correct number of auxiliary control valves so the software matches the physical hardware.
Repair wiring
If no valve was added (Wiring Fault), repair any damaged wiring or CAN bus lines that are causing the false detection.
Replace faulty valve section
If the wiring is intact and no valve was added (Hardware Fault), one of the existing auxiliary control valves may have an internal electronic failure causing it to broadcast an incorrect or duplicate ID. Identify the faulty valve section via FENDIAS and replace it.
Clear codes
Once the EOL programming is updated or the hardware is repaired, use the tractor's onboard diagnostic menu or the FENDIAS tool to confirm, call up, and delete the stored fault code.
