Fendt 0A.1.B8 – A039: A039 - MFA, multifunction armrest
Issue description
Linear module 2 (rocker switch) is not calibrated. The valve position is not functioning, and the associated hydraulic auxiliary control valve is locked.
Applies to these machines

Check the cause
Ensure that Linear Module 2 (the fingertip rocker switch for the hydraulic auxiliary control valve) is not physically jammed, stuck, or engaged when the ignition is switched on.
Check for related fault code 0A.1.B9. If present and the switch is not physically stuck, the module has failed electrically.
Verify the tractor meets the preliminary conditions for calibration (e.g., engine running, transmission in neutral, hydraulic oil at operating temperature).
Repair steps
Turn the ignition ON and ensure all preliminary conditions for calibration are satisfied.
Access the calibration menu on the tractor's terminal/dashboard.
Enter Calibration Code 1004 (Calibration, linear module 2 / hydr. auxiliary control valve).
Follow the on-screen prompts to calibrate the rocker switch, which typically involves moving the switch through its full range of motion to register the endpoints.
Save the calibration.
If the calibration takes longer than 30 seconds (Error F08), the calibrated values are faulty (Error F02), or the MFA is not responding (Error F03), the calibration has failed.
If calibration fails repeatedly or fault code 0A.1.B9 returns, the linear module 2 (rocker switch) is defective and must be replaced.
Parts you might need
(1)Multifunction Armrest Linear Module / Fingertip Spool Rocker Switch (for Hydraulic Auxiliary Control Valve)
Depending on the tractor's configuration, the linear modules may be sold as individual drop-in switches or as part of a larger keypad/joystick assembly within the Grammer armrest console.
