Fendt 0A.1.BC – MFA (Multifunction Armrest): Linear module 4 (rocker switch) is not calibrated
Issue description
The system has lost the calibration values for the 4th linear module (rocker) on the multifunction armrest. The associated valve position stops functioning, and the system locks the valve for safety. The system will prompt for Calibration Code "1006".

Check the cause
Check Preliminary Conditions (F01): Ensure the tractor is running, hydraulic oil is at operating temperature, and the system is ready for calibration.
Check MFA Communication (F03): Verify that the MFA is responding to the Basic Control Unit. If it is not responding, check the wiring harness and CAN bus connections to the armrest.
Check for Hardware Failure (0A.1.BD): If the linear module is physically broken, the system will often log the accompanying fault code 0A.1.BD ("Faulty linear module 4 (rocker) / lock valve").
Monitor Calibration Time (F08): If the calibration takes longer than 30 seconds, the module is likely sticking or failing to send a stable signal.
Repair steps
Access diagnostics and calibration menu
Turn on the tractor and access the terminal's diagnostics and calibration menu.
Enter Calibration Code 1006
Enter Calibration Code 1006 (Calibration, linear module 4 / control valve).
Actuate the rocker switch
Follow the on-screen prompts on the terminal to actuate the rocker switch through its full range of motion. This teaches the ECU the neutral position and the end stops of the linear module.
Save the calibrated values
Save the calibrated values. (Note: If the terminal displays fault F02, the calibrated values are faulty, indicating the potentiometer inside the rocker is worn out and the module must be replaced).
Clear fault code 0A.1.BC
Once calibration is successfully completed, navigate to the fault code menu and manually clear code 0A.1.BC. (Fault codes must be cleared individually; they do not disappear automatically just because the fault is fixed).
Replace module or armrest if calibration fails
If calibration repeatedly fails or code 0A.1.BD is present, replace the linear module or the multifunction armrest assembly.
