   Verify if the steering axle is intentionally engaged by the operator (if so, the system is operating as designed).

   If the steering axle is physically locked or deactivated but the warning persists, inspect the steering axle position sensors, switches, and the wiring harness leading back to the A050 ECU for shorts or open circuits.

   Connect the FENDIAS diagnostic software to check for accompanying CAN bus faults (e.g., 00.0.01 through 00.0.16) that might indicate a communication breakdown with the A050 ECU.

   Connect diagnostic tool

   Connect the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Read fault memory

   Read the fault memory of the A050 Basic Control Unit to confirm 0A.1.CB is the only code present.

   Clear warning message

   If the steering axle is functioning normally, simply acknowledge and clear the warning message using the diagnostic software.

   Remove faulty ECU

   If the A050 ECU is determined to be internally faulty (e.g., sending false warnings, failing to communicate on the CAN bus, or suffering from EEPROM errors), the module must be removed.

   Repair ECU

   Send the unit to a specialized agricultural electronics repair facility (such as Ilgenfritz Mechatronics) for bench-testing and internal repair.

   Program new ECU

   If installing a new or remanufactured A050 ECU, you must perform EOL (End of Line) programming using FENDIAS so the ECU can learn the specific tractor's configuration and immobilizer data.
