Fendt 0A.1.CE – Auxiliary Control Units: Valve actuator does not return to neutral position.

The auxiliary spool valve remains deflected (stuck) when the engine is on. As a safety measure, the system locks the valve and turns the pilot pressure OFF.

   Check the hydraulic fluid for contamination (dirt, debris, or metal shavings), which is the primary cause of the mechanical jam.

   Connect a diagnostic tool (such as FENDIAS or a TEXA Navigator via the tractor's dedicated socket) to scan the Hydraulic Valve BUS. Confirm if the error is active or stored, and identify exactly which spool valve (e.g., Yellow, Blue, Red, Green) is throwing the code.

   Inspect the specific spool valve actuator for external damage or mechanical binding before removing the valve block.

   Drain and Flush

   Drain the hydraulic system and flush it to remove as much debris and contamination as possible.

   Remove the Valve Spool

   Disconnect the linkage/lever from the affected spool valve. Unscrew the rear pipe/cap to withdraw the valve spool and actuator from the valve body.

   Clean and Inspect

   Clean the disassembled valve components with a quality, residue-free parts cleaner. Inspect the spool, actuator, and internal valve body for wear, scoring, or scratches. Scoring allows oil to bypass, causing pressure drops or jams.

   Replace Seals/Worn Parts

   If the spool or actuator is heavily scored, the valve section must be replaced. Otherwise, replace all rubber O-rings, soft components, and centering springs using an OEM repair kit.

   Reassemble and Refill

   Reassemble the valve actuator. Refill the hydraulic system with fresh, clean hydraulic fluid (e.g., Fendt Extra Trans 10W-40 or STOU oil), ensuring the fluid is filtered during the transfer process to prevent introducing new contaminants.

   Clear Codes

   Use the diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.1.CE fault code and cycle the hydraulic controls to ensure the valve actuator returns to the neutral position smoothly.
