0A.1.D7

Fendt 0A.1.D7 – 0000 - Overall system/tractor / Instrument panel (A007): B084 - Sensor, hydraulic oil level

Issue description

The connection to the sensor is broken, shorted, or the sensor itself has failed, meaning the hydraulic oil fill level is no longer being monitored by the tractor's system.

Applies to these machines

  • 922 Vario COM III
  • 924 Vario COM III
  • 927 Vario COM III
  • 930 Vario COM III
  • 933 Vario COM III
  • 936 Vario COM III
  • 300 Vario Series (COM III)
  • 400 Vario Series (COM III, e.g., 409, 410, 411, 412)
  • 700 Vario Series (COM III, e.g., 711, 712, 714, 716)
  • 800 Vario Series (COM III, S4, e.g., 815, 817, 818, 822, 824, 826, 828)
  • 900 Vario Series (COM III, S4, Gen6, e.g., 916, 920, 924, 926, 927, 930, 933, 936, 939)

Check the cause

  1. Manually check the hydraulic oil level to ensure the tank is not actually empty (an empty tank typically triggers a related code, 0A.1.D9).

  2. Inspect the B084 hydraulic oil level sensor and its wiring harness for a break in the cable, a disconnected sensor plug, or corrosion at the connector.

  3. Check for a 12V supply fault or signal interruption to the sensor using the circuit diagram.

Repair steps

  1. Secure the Machine

Park the tractor on level ground, turn off the engine, and remove the key.

  2. Locate the Sensor

Locate the B084 hydraulic oil level sensor on the hydraulic oil reservoir.

  3. Test the Circuit

Disconnect the sensor and use a multimeter to verify continuity in the wiring harness back to the instrument panel/central electrical board.

  4. Replace the Sensor

If the wiring is intact and the supply voltage is correct, the sensor itself has failed internally. Remove the faulty B084 sensor and install the replacement.

  5. Reassemble and Clear Codes

Reconnect the wiring harness. Turn the ignition on and use the tractor's terminal/instrument panel to call up and clear the stored 0A.1.D7 fault code.

  6. Verify Operation

Ensure the hydraulic oil level warning is no longer active and the system is monitoring the fluid level correctly.

Parts you might need

(1)
  • Hydraulic Oil Level Sensor (B084) / Tankgeber (Level Sender)

    G816860060012

Heavily cross-referenced for the Favorit 800 series (816, 818, 822, 824). For newer S4 or Gen6 Vario models, consult the dealer catalog with the chassis number to ensure you do not need a superseded part number.
