0A.1.D8

Fendt 0A.1.D8 – Instrument panel / ABS / operator's seat: Warning, hydraulic oil tank

Issue description

The hydraulic oil level has dropped to a low level, triggering a warning display.

Applies to these machines

  • 922 Vario COM III
  • 924 Vario COM III
  • 927 Vario COM III
  • 930 Vario COM III
  • 933 Vario COM III
  • 936 Vario COM III

  • Fendt 800 Vario (COM III, S4)
  • Fendt 900 Vario (COM III, SCR, S4)

Check the cause

  1. Manually check the hydraulic oil level using the machine's sight glass or dipstick to confirm if fluid is actually low.

  2. Inspect the tractor's hydraulic lines, remote valves, and cylinders for external leaks that would cause fluid loss.

  3. Inspect the wiring harness and connector at the B084 hydraulic oil level sensor for poor connections or damage.

Repair steps

  1. Top Up Hydraulic Fluid

Fill the hydraulic oil tank to the correct specification. Fendt documentation recommends using Fendt Extra Trans 10W-40 or STOU oil (viscosity SAE 10W-40 or 15W-40).

  2. Clear the Code

Cycle the tractor's ignition. If the fluid level is restored, the warning display should clear.

  3. Test the Sensor

If the hydraulic tank is completely full but the 0A.1.D8 warning persists, the B084 sensor itself is likely stuck or failing.

  4. Replace the Sensor

Drain the hydraulic fluid below the sensor port level (or use a vacuum system to hold the fluid), unthread the faulty B084 sensor, install the new sensor, and top off the fluid.
