Fendt 0A.1.DF – Auxiliary Control Units: Priority volume greater than pump volume
Issue description
The hydraulic flow rate (volume) prioritized or requested by the operator for the auxiliary spool valves exceeds the maximum delivery capacity of the tractor's hydraulic pump. The system recognizes that it cannot physically supply the requested amount of hydraulic oil to the prioritized circuits.

Check the cause
Check Terminal Settings: Access the Varioterminal and review the hydraulic flow settings for all auxiliary spool valves.
Calculate Total Priority Flow: Sum up the priority flow rates assigned to the active spool valves.
Verify Pump Capacity: Compare the total requested priority flow against the maximum rated output of your specific tractor's hydraulic pump (e.g., 110 L/min, 152 L/min, 193 L/min).
Check for Hardware Symptoms: If the settings are well within the pump's limits but the code persists, check the hydraulic pump for wear (reduced actual output) or inspect the spool valve position sensors for faulty readings.
Repair steps
Access Hydraulic Settings
Turn on the tractor ignition and navigate to the hydraulic settings menu on the Varioterminal.
Adjust Flow Rates
Select the auxiliary spool valves (Yellow, Blue, Red, Green, etc.).
Reduce Priority Volume
Lower the priority flow settings so that the combined requested volume is less than or equal to the maximum output volume of the hydraulic pump.
Save and Clear
Save the new settings in the terminal. Cycle the tractor's key (turn off, wait 10 seconds, turn back on) to reset the modules and clear the fault code.
Test Operation
Actuate the hydraulic valves to ensure the multi-function armrest is fully operational and the code does not return.
Mechanical Intervention (If necessary)
If the terminal adjustment does not clear the code, a flow test must be performed on the hydraulic pump. If the pump is failing to deliver its rated volume, it must be replaced.
