0A.1.F0

Fendt 0A.1.F0 – Working and Steering Hydraulics system: Y032 Control pressure solenoid valve +UB short circuit

Issue description

The system detects a short circuit to power in the electrical actuation system or within the solenoid valve itself. As a result, no valve actuation is possible, and the hydraulic spool valves default to the neutral position.

Applies to these machines

Check the cause

  1. Inspect the wiring harness leading to the Y032 solenoid valve for chafing, melted insulation, or exposed wires causing a short circuit to +UB (battery positive)

  2. Refer to the 'Spool valves 1' circuit diagram (often Sheet 7 or Sheet 26) to trace the power supply

  3. Test the electrical actuation system and measure the solenoid valve's resistance to determine if the short circuit is internal to the valve

  4. Perform a pressure-operated switch check using the test sequence (0 / 2.4V) to verify if the switch opens during flow restriction

Repair steps

  1. Depressurize the System

Turn the thumb screw to lower the suspension and relieve pressure from the front axle suspension pressure lines and the central control block. Caution: Ensure no one is standing near the tractor body, as it will lower during this process.

  2. Disconnect Power

Remove the earth (ground) strap from the battery before working on the tractor's electrical system.

  3. Access the Valve

Locate the Y032 Control pressure solenoid valve on the hydraulic control block.

  4. Inspect and Replace

Disconnect the electrical connector. If your diagnostic checks confirmed an internal short, remove the faulty Y032 solenoid valve from the block.

  5. Install New Part

Install the replacement OEM solenoid valve and torque to the manufacturer's specifications. Reconnect the electrical harness.

  6. Re-energize and Clear Codes

Reconnect the battery earth strap. Start the tractor, use the terminal/FENDIAS system to clear the stored 0A.1.F0 fault code, and test the hydraulic spool valves to ensure normal operation.
