Fendt 0A.1.F7 – A050 - Basic Control Unit (ECU): Actuation fault with the Y061 - Hydraulic oil pre-heater solenoid valve (middle/central)
Issue description
The system has detected a break in the wiring, a short circuit to earth, or a short circuit to +UB. Consequence: The pre-heater is disabled, meaning no further valve heating is possible.

Check the cause
Verify the B013 hydraulic oil temperature sensor (trigger sensor). At 0°C, it should measure approximately 5.9 kOhms.
Inspect connector X1498 for corrosion, pushed-out pins, or moisture.
Check for a break in the wiring or a short circuit to ground/battery voltage between the A050 ECU and the Y061 valve.
Measure the resistance of the Y061 solenoid coil to determine if the coil has failed internally (open or shorted).
Repair steps
Locate the Valve
The Y061 solenoid valve is located on the right side of the tractor, on the central valve block.
Access the Valve
Detach the right-side cover panel to gain access to the central valve block.
Disconnect Power
Ensure the tractor ignition is OFF. Disconnect the X1498 electrical connector from the Y061 solenoid.
Replace the Solenoid
Remove the retaining nut securing the solenoid coil to the valve cartridge. Slide the faulty coil off. (If the hydraulic cartridge itself is damaged, relieve hydraulic pressure before unscrewing the cartridge from the block).
Reassembly
Install the new solenoid coil, secure the retaining nut, and plug in the X1498 connector.
Clear Fault Codes
Reattach the side panel. Turn the ignition ON. Use the tractor's terminal or FENDIAS diagnostic software to clear the fault code. Note: Canceling a fault code on the display does not permanently remove it; it must be explicitly cleared from the ECU memory.
Parts you might need
