Electrical or communication fault between the tractor's terminal display and the Teach-In system (the automated sequence programming function) managed by the basic control unit.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the main terminal (A103 / NT01/02) and the A050 Basic Control Unit for loose connections, bent pins, or corrosion.

   Look for related communication codes, such as 0B.1.22 (Communication error between terminal and TeachIn/Variotronic Ti) or 0B.1.21 (Internal communication error).

   Verify that the A050 ECU is receiving proper operating voltage (+UB) and has a solid ground connection.

   Test the CAN bus communication lines between the terminal and the A050 ECU for continuity and proper resistance.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery before working on the ECUs.

   Inspect and Clean

   Disconnect the terminal and A050 ECU connectors. Clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner and re-seat them firmly.

   Clear and Retest

   Reconnect the battery, turn on the ignition, and clear the fault codes via the terminal. Test the Teach-In function to see if the fault returns.

   Repair/Replace the A050 ECU

   If the wiring is intact and the terminal is functioning normally for other operations, the A050 Basic Control Unit has likely suffered an internal hardware failure. The unit must be removed and either sent to a specialized agricultural electronics repair facility (such as Ilgenfritz Mechatronics) or replaced with a new OEM unit.

   EOL Programming

   If the A050 Basic Control Unit is replaced or wiped, End-Of-Line (EOL) programming must be performed using FENDIAS (Fendt's diagnostic software) to configure the new module to the tractor.
