Fendt 0F.1.01 – A038 - ECU, central electrical system: Brake and tail light left

Left brake and tail light function is non-operable. The system specifically notes that the left brake light is dipped for night driving.

   Retrieve and confirm the fault code on the multiple display of the tractor's instrument panel

   Check the left tail light bulb for a blown filament. These assemblies typically use 12V halogen bulbs (P21W, R10W, or P21/5W)

   Inspect the wiring harness and contacts, specifically referencing Fendt circuit diagram Sheet 13/14

   Inspect the 3-pin AMP Superseal connector at the light assembly for a secure connection, vibration damage, or moisture and dust ingress

   Access the Assembly

   Locate the left rear tail light assembly and disconnect the 3-pin AMP Superseal connector.

   Test/Replace the Bulb

   Open the lens and replace the faulty halogen bulb (P21/5W or P21W) if it is blown.

   Replace the Assembly (if necessary)

   If the housing is cracked, the reflector is damaged, or the internal contacts are corroded, replace the entire tail light assembly. Ensure the rubber gasket is properly seated to seal against moisture and dust.

   Remount

   Mount the new assembly vertically and secure it with the mounting screws. Reconnect the 3-pin connector.

   Clear the Fault Code

   Once repaired, clear the fault code from the instrument panel (A007) fault memory. Note that if the code is also stored in the basic control unit (A050), it may require FENDIAS diagnostic software to clear completely.
