Fendt 0F.1.02 – Central Electrical System (ZE): Brake and tail light right malfunction

The system has detected that the right brake light and right tail light function is non-operable.

   Check the right rear tail light assembly for physical damage, cracked lenses, or water ingress.

   Inspect the bulbs inside the right tail light housing (P21W for brake, R10W for tail) to see if the filaments are blown.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to the right rear tail light for corrosion, breaks, or loose connections.

   Consult the tractor's circuit diagram (Sheet 13/14) to trace the signal line from the Central Electrical System (ZE) to the light assembly. Use a multimeter to verify if 12V/24V is reaching the socket when the brake pedal is depressed or lights are turned on.

   De-energize

   Turn off the tractor and remove the key to ensure the electrical system is safe to work on.

   Access the Bulbs

   Remove the lens cover on the right rear tail light assembly (usually secured by screws).

   Replace Bulbs

   If the P21W or R10W bulbs are blown or blackened, replace them with new bulbs of the exact same wattage and voltage.

   Clean Contacts

   If the bulbs are good but not illuminating, clean the bulb socket contacts and the main harness connector with electrical contact cleaner to remove any corrosion.

   Replace Assembly

   If the internal circuit board/reflector is heavily corroded, short-circuited, or the housing is broken, disconnect the main wiring harness and unbolt the entire right-hand rear light assembly. Install the replacement OEM unit and plug in the harness.

   Test

   Turn on the tractor and test the tail lights and brake lights to ensure the right side is now functioning.

   Clear the Code

   Access the tractor's terminal. Press the fault confirmation button repeatedly to cycle through and clear the stored 0F.1.02 fault code from the display.
