0F.1.0A

Fendt 0F.1.0A – A038 - ECU, central electrical system: E088 - Direction indicator, front right function non-operable

Issue description

The front right turn signal is not working, which is typically caused by a blown bulb, a failed LED unit, or an open circuit/wiring fault preventing the load from being detected.

Applies to these machines

Check the cause

  1. Visually inspect the front right indicator (E088) to confirm it fails to illuminate when the right turn signal is activated.

  2. Test voltage output directly at the A038 Central Electrical System ECU at connector C2 (X1406). It should read 0 VDC when switched OFF, and pulse at an intermittent 12 VDC when switched ON.

  3. Inspect the wiring harness between connector X1406 and the E088 indicator for breaks, chafing, or corroded ground connections (refer to Vehicle licensing regulations/work lights circuit diagram, Sheet 15).

Repair steps

  1. Turn off the tractor and remove the key

Ensure the electrical system is depowered.

  2. Access the front right direction indicator housing (E088).

  3. Open the lens cover and inspect the bulb filament.

If the tractor is equipped with standard halogen bulbs and the filament is blown, replace the bulb.

  4. Unbolt the entire indicator housing and disconnect the pigtail connector.

Perform this step if the tractor is equipped with a sealed LED assembly (e.g., E215 LED variant) and it has failed.

  5. Use a multimeter to check for continuity in the wiring harness between the indicator socket and pin C2 on connector X1406 at the A038 ECU.

If the bulb/LED tests fine, perform this check to repair any broken wires or clean corroded pins.

  6. Install the new bulb or LED assembly and reconnect the wiring harness.

  7. Turn the ignition on and test the right turn signal to verify the repair.

  8. Access the tractor's diagnostic terminal to clear the stored 0F.1.0A fault code from the memory.

Parts you might need

(1)
  • Front right direction indicator assembly / Turn signal bulb

Verify whether your specific Fendt model utilizes a standard replaceable bulb or a sealed LED unit (referenced in manuals as the E215 LED variant).
