Fendt 0F.1.0B – A038 - Central Electrical System: E064 - Rear direction indicator, left

The tractor's system has detected that the left rear turn signal is not working. This is typically caused by a blown bulb, a failed LED assembly, a disconnected plug, or a wiring fault (open or short circuit).

   Check Connector X916 for moisture, corrosion, or backed-out pins

   Measure voltage (Signal D17) for the left direction indicator (0 VDC when OFF, intermittent 12 VDC when ON)

   Visual Inspection

   Check the left rear tail light assembly. If the tractor uses halogen bulbs, check if the indicator bulb is blown. If it is an LED unit, look for physical damage to the lens or diodes.

   Test the Circuit

   Disconnect connector X916 at the left rear light. Activate the left turn signal from the cab and measure the voltage at the harness side of the connector.

   Resolve the Fault

   If 12V intermittent voltage is present: The wiring is good. The fault is isolated to the bulb or the light assembly itself. Replace the bulb or the entire left rear indicator unit. If voltage is missing: The issue lies in the wiring harness. Trace the wiring from connector X916 back to the A038 Central Electrical System. Repair any broken wires or shorts to ground.

   Clear Codes

   Once the repair is made and the light functions normally, cycle the tractor's key to clear the active fault from the terminal display.
