Check the cause

  1. Check the circuit by referring to the tractor's circuit diagram (Sheet 17 under Overall System/Tractor or Work lights) to trace the wiring.

  2. Inspect connector X301 at the M003 front wiper pump for corrosion, loose pins, or broken wires.

  3. Test the pump by applying direct voltage to see if the motor engages. If it runs bypassed but not via cab controls, the issue is likely in the wiring harness or Central Electrical System ECU.

Repair steps

  1. Locate the Washer Bottle

On Fendt Vario tractors, the windscreen washer fluid bottle is located on the left rear mudguard.

  2. Remove the Bottle

Unbolt and remove the windscreen washer bottle/tank from the mudguard to gain access to the pumps.

  3. Identify the Correct Pump

The bottle houses two pumps. M003 is the front wiper pump, and M005 is the rear wiper pump. Ensure you are removing the M003 pump.

  4. Disconnect

Unplug the X301 electrical connector and detach the rubber fluid hose from the pump nozzle.

  5. Remove the Pump

Pull the old M003 pump straight out of the rubber sealing grommet in the washer bottle.

  6. Install the New Pump

Push the new pump firmly into the grommet to ensure a watertight seal.

  7. Reassemble

Reconnect the fluid hose and the X301 electrical connector. Mount the washer bottle back onto the left rear mudguard.

  8. Test

Refill the washer fluid, clear the 0F.1.10 fault code via the dashboard/terminal, and test the front washer function.
