Fendt 0F.1.15 – Central Electrical System ECU (A038) or Instrument Cluster / Control Console (A007): A036 - Control panel, dashboard right/left.

The left-hand side of the right dashboard control panel is not working, or the function is entirely non-operable. This typically indicates a loss of communication, a power supply failure, or an internal hardware failure within the control console.

   Inspect fuse F9 in the X1440 fuse holder (or the corresponding fuse for the electronics supply on your specific model)

   Disconnect the A036 control panel and test the supply voltage (+UB 30) at connector X1357 (the separation point on A036). Specified Values: You should see 12.0 VDC with the ignition OFF, and 14.0 VDC with the engine running.

   Load test the circuit by connecting an approx. 55 W load to the supply voltage pin to ensure the voltage remains stable and does not drop under load

   Verify the earth/ground connection at the X1357 connector

   Check if the Enter, ESC, Up, or Down buttons on the A036 panel are physically stuck, as a button pressed for >30 seconds will also trigger related A036 fault codes (e.g., 00.1.75, 00.1.76) and lock up the panel.

   Power Down

   Turn off the ignition and disconnect the tractor's battery to prevent electrical shorts.

   Access the Panel

   Carefully pry or unscrew the trim surrounding the right-hand dashboard control panel (A036).

   Disconnect Wiring

   Unplug the X1357 connector from the rear of the control panel. Inspect the pins for corrosion, pushed-out terminals, or moisture ingress.

   Repair Wiring (If Applicable)

   If the voltage test failed during diagnostics, trace the wiring harness back to the Central Electrical System ECU (A038) and repair any broken wires or replace the blown F9 fuse.

   Replace the Panel

   If the wiring, voltage, and ground are all within specification, the A036 control panel has failed internally. Install the new control panel and reconnect the X1357 plug.

   Reassemble and Clear Codes

   Reinstall the dashboard trim, reconnect the battery, and turn on the ignition. Use the tractor's onboard diagnostic menu or the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to clear the stored 0F.1.15 fault code.
