Fendt 0F.1.16 – A037: A037 - Control panel, dashboard left
Issue description
Failure or loss of communication with the left-hand dashboard control panel, causing the buttons, switches, and indicators on the left side of the dashboard to stop working.

Check the cause
Inspect the wiring harness leading to the left dashboard control panel (A037) for chafing, pinches, or rodent damage.
Disconnect the plug at the A037 panel and check for bent pins, pushed-out terminals, or corrosion.
Verify that the control panel is receiving proper operating voltage (12V) and has a clean ground connection.
Test the CAN High and CAN Low communication lines at the connector for continuity back to the central electrical system/Basic Control Unit.
Connect the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to check if the A037 module is completely offline or if it is throwing internal hardware faults.
Repair steps
Turn off the tractor and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.

Carefully pry off or unscrew the plastic trim/bezels surrounding the left side of the steering column and dashboard area.

Remove the retaining screws holding the A037 left control panel in place.
Remove the retaining screws holding the A037 left control panel in place.
Pull the panel forward and disconnect the multi-pin electrical harness from the rear of the unit.
Pull the panel forward and disconnect the multi-pin electrical harness from the rear of the unit.
Connect the wiring harness to the replacement control panel.

Seat the new panel into the dashboard and secure it with the retaining screws.

Reinstall the surrounding trim pieces.

Reconnect the battery.

Turn the ignition on and use the tractor's onboard terminal or FENDIAS software to clear the stored 0F.1.16 fault code. Test the left dashboard buttons to ensure full functionality.
