Check the cause
Check the main wiper fuse and the windscreen wiper relay (designated as K009 at connector X093 in 900 Vario models).
Inspect electrical connector X347 at the front wiper motor for moisture, corrosion, or loose pins.
Perform a voltage and ground test at connector X347 using a digital multimeter to ensure the motor receives power and ground when the wiper switch is activated.
Test related functions, such as the front screen washer pump (M003 at connector X301), to verify the steering column switch is sending signals properly.
Check the wiper linkage for mechanical binding or jammed debris that could cause the motor to time out or burn out.
Repair steps
Safety Prep
Turn the ignition OFF, remove the key, and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Locate the Motor
The M002 front wiper motor is located directly in the front windscreen frame.
Remove the Cover
Unscrew and remove the protective cover over the wiper motor assembly.
Disconnect the Arm and Wiring
Unbolt the front wiper arm from the motor spindle. Unplug the X347 electrical connector.
Remove the Motor
Unbolt the motor from its mounting bracket and detach it from the wiper linkage. (Note: The motor and internal parking switch are generally a single sealed unit and are not serviceable; the whole unit must be replaced).
Installation
Install the new M002 motor, secure the mounting bolts, and reconnect the linkage.
Reassembly
Plug in the X347 connector, reinstall the protective cover, and reattach the wiper arm in the correct resting (park) position.
Test
Reconnect the battery, turn on the ignition, and test the wipers. You may need to clear the inactive 0F.1.1D fault code from the tractor's terminal.
Parts you might need
(1)Front Wiper Motor (M002)
Ensure the replacement motor is compatible with the X347 connector. Exact part number varies depending on the specific cab generation; provide your tractor's VIN to a Fendt parts catalog to get the exact match.
