Fendt 0F.1.1F – A050 - ECU, Basic Control Unit: M010 - Fuel pump: Function non-operable.

The control system has detected that the electric fuel pump (M010) is not functioning. This is typically caused by an electrical failure (open circuit, short circuit) in the pump motor, a wiring issue, or a seized pump mechanism.

   Check the Circuit Diagram: Refer to Sheet 17 or Sheet 22 (depending on your specific Vario model) to trace the M010 circuit.

   Inspect the Connector: Locate the electrical connector for the fuel pump, designated as X300. Check for corrosion, pushed-out pins, or moisture.

   Voltage Test: With the ignition ON, test for proper voltage supply and ground at the X300 connector.

   Resistance Test: Measure the internal resistance of the M010 fuel pump motor to check for an open or shorted internal coil.

   Wiring Harness: Inspect the wiring harness between the A050 Basic Control Unit and the X300 connector for chafing or breaks.

   Preparation

   Turn off the tractor, disconnect the battery (G001), and ensure the work area is clean.

   Access

   Depending on the model (e.g., 900 Vario), accessing the fuel pump may require draining the fuel tank and removing obstructing components such as the battery box or fuel tank brackets.

   Disconnection

   Disconnect the electrical connector (X300) from the M010 fuel pump.

   Removal

   Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the fuel suction and pressure lines. Be prepared to catch any residual fuel. Unbolt the fuel pump mounting bracket and remove the faulty pump.

   Installation

   Install the new fuel pump into the mounting bracket. Reconnect the fuel lines and secure them with new clamps.

   Reconnection

   Plug in the X300 electrical connector. Reinstall any removed components (battery, brackets).

   Testing

   Reconnect the battery. Turn the ignition on to prime the fuel system and check for leaks. Clear the 0F.1.1F fault code using the FENDIAS diagnostic tool. Perform a test drive to ensure the tractor operates correctly and the code does not return.
