The tractor's enhanced control system is unable to read the engine configuration data from the electrical engine control module (EDC / EMR). This indicates a communication failure, a corrupted data record, or a checksum error within the engine control unit's memory, causing the Tractor Management System (TMS) to automatically switch off.

   Check the CAN bus lines between the A002 (Enhanced Control ECU) and the A051 (Engine Control Unit) for continuity, shorts to ground, or broken wires

   Inspect the main harness connectors at the Bosch EDC 7 unit for moisture, corrosion, or backed-out pins

   Verify that the A051 ECU is receiving proper voltage by checking the A013 PCB microfuses that supply the engine control and CAN bus circuits

   Connect the AGCO CANUSB diagnostic tool and use FENDIAS software to see if communication can be established directly with the A051 module

   Clear and Retest

   Use the tractor's onboard terminal or FENDIAS to clear the fault code. Cycle the key to see if the 1.1.05 code returns immediately (hard fault) or intermittently (wiring issue).

   Repair Wiring

   If the diagnostic checks reveal high resistance or a break in the CAN bus wiring between A002 and A051, repair the harness and re-test.

   EOL Reprogramming

   If the wiring is perfectly intact, the fault is likely a corrupted EEPROM memory inside the EDC 7. Perform an EOL (End of Line) programming to flash a new engine configuration data record to the A051 control unit.

   ECU Replacement/Repair

   If the EDC 7 module will not accept EOL programming or has suffered internal hardware failure, the module must be removed and either sent to a specialized mechatronics repair facility or replaced entirely.

   Calibration

   After installing a repaired or new EDC 7, you must perform EOL programming to match the engine parameters to the tractor's enhanced control system.
