Check the cause
Verify the tractor's operating state, as it will automatically enter a 'Restricted operating mode' (EDC-Failure or EMR-Failure).
Consult the EDC or EMR Engine control circuit diagrams to verify wiring integrity between the B035 hand throttle sensor and the A002 ECU.
Ensure you have access to the FENDIAS or SERDIA diagnostic software, which is required to clear faults after correction.
Repair steps
End-of-Line (EOL) Programming
Perform a new end-of-line programming or load a new data record into the A002 ECU.
Calibration
Run calibration code '4002' for the enhanced control ECU.
Clear Faults
If subsequent EDC faults (e.g., 1.2.xx series) occur, they must be deleted in the engine control unit using the SERDIA diagnostic tool following the error correction.
Component Replacement
If the ECU will not accept the new data record or the sensor signal remains out of range, replace the B035 Hand Throttle Sensor or the A002 ECU.
