Fendt 1.2.02 – A051 - ECU, Engine Control Unit (EDC 7 / EDC 17): B092 - Sensor, charge air pressure/temperature
Issue description
The engine control unit has detected a cable break or short circuit at the boost pressure sensor, or the charge air pressure is outside the setpoint range, resulting in reduced engine power (limp mode).

Check the cause
Inspect the 4-pin connector (X1661) at the B092 sensor for corrosion, moisture, or backed-out pins, and check the wiring harness for breaks or shorts to ground.
With the ignition ON, check the supply voltage at the sensor connector (should be exactly 5.0 VDC).
Back-probe the signal wire: it should read 0 VDC with ignition ON/engine off, approx. 1.0 VDC at engine idle (800 rpm), and approx. 4.8 VDC under load.
Verify mechanical boost pressure (max approx. 1.6 bar) to rule out turbocharger, wastegate, or intake leak issues if the sensor is reading correctly.
Repair steps
Turn off tractor
Turn off the tractor and ensure the ignition is completely OFF.
Locate sensor
Locate the B092 charge air pressure/temperature sensor on the engine intake manifold.
Disconnect connector
Disconnect the X1661 electrical connector.
Remove faulty sensor
If diagnostic tests proved the sensor has a 5V supply and good ground but outputs an incorrect or dead signal, remove the faulty B092 sensor from the manifold.
Install new sensor
Install the new sensor and securely reconnect the wiring harness.
Connect diagnostic tool
Connect the Fendt SERDIA diagnostic tool to the tractor's diagnostic port.
Clear fault codes
Navigate to the A051 Engine Control Unit and clear the stored fault codes (1.2.02 / FC:0020, 0021).
Test drive
Start the engine and test drive the tractor under load to ensure full power is restored and the code does not return.
