Fendt 1.2.08 – A051 - ECU, Engine Control Unit (EDC 7): B087 - Fuel low pressure sensor
Issue description
Primary fuel low pressure is outside of the setpoint range (typically dropping below the target range of approximately 6 bar). The system will also trigger this code if it detects a break in the wiring or a short circuit at the sensor.

Check the cause
Check the fuel system to ensure there is an adequate supply of fuel and that the primary delivery pump is functioning
Inspect the fuel lines to see if air has entered the system
Inspect primary and inline fuel filters to check if they are clogged or blocked (a primary cause of low pressure)
Check the wiring harness and connector to the B087 sensor for a broken wire or short circuit (refer to Wiring Diagram Sheet 36)
Read out the specific KWP fault codes using the SERDIA / Fendias diagnostic tool to verify associated sub-codes (FC:005A, 005B, or 005E)
Repair steps
Resolve Flow Restrictions
Replace the fuel filters if they are clogged or have not been serviced recently.
Bleed the System
Bleed all air from the fuel system to restore proper primary pressure.
Wiring Repair
If electrical testing revealed a fault, repair any broken wires or short circuits in the B087 sensor's wiring harness.
Sensor Replacement
If the wiring is intact, the filters are clean, and the fuel supply is verified but the code persists, replace the B087 fuel low pressure sensor.
Clear Codes
Connect the SERDIA diagnostic tool and delete the error code from the EDC memory.
