Fendt 1.2.32 – A022 - ECU, EMR2: Charge air temperature warning threshold exceeded
Issue description
The charge air temperature has become too high. If the temperature remains too high after a delay period, the engine control unit will automatically reduce the engine power output or use a substitute value to calculate the injected fuel quantity.

Check the cause
Check engine coolant level, as low coolant can contribute to excessive charge air temperatures
Inspect the radiator and intercooler for blockages, debris, or dirt that could restrict airflow
Inspect the cable connection to the B053 sensor for breaks, corrosion, or loose fittings
Run SERDIA diagnostics to monitor live data from the B053 sensor to see if the signal is out of range (signal too high or too low)
Repair steps
Allow engine to cool
Allow the engine to cool down safely.
Clean radiator and intercooler
Clean the radiator and intercooler fins thoroughly to restore proper cooling capacity.
Top up coolant
Top up the engine coolant if the level is found to be low.
Clean sensor contacts
Disconnect the wiring harness from the B053 charge air temperature / boost pressure sensor and clean the contacts.
Test and replace sensor
Test the B053 sensor. If the sensor is providing an erratic signal, a signal out of range, or if the fault persists after cleaning the radiator and verifying the wiring, replace the B053 sensor.
Clear fault codes and test drive
Clear the fault codes via the SERDIA diagnostic tool and test drive the tractor to ensure engine power is no longer being reduced.
