   Connect the SERDIA / Fendias diagnostic tool to read the specific KWP sub-code (FC:0018 is associated with this fault)

   Inspect the wiring harness between the A051 Engine Control Unit (EDC 7) and the cylinder 1 fuel injector for continuity, short circuits, or cable breaks

   Test the cylinder 1 injector valve for electrical faults or mechanical failure (such as chip or solenoid failure)

   Disconnect power

   Ensure the tractor is turned off and battery power is disconnected if repairing the wiring harness.

   Repair wiring harness

   If the diagnostic checks reveal a broken wire or short circuit to injector 1, repair or replace the affected section of the engine wiring harness.

   Replace fuel injector

   If the wiring is intact but the fault persists, remove and replace the faulty cylinder 1 fuel injector.

   Reconnect components

   Reconnect all components and battery power.

   Connect diagnostic tool

   Connect the SERDIA diagnostic tool to the tractor.

   Clear error code

   Clear the original Deutz/Bosch error (FC:0018) from the A051 engine control unit memory. Note: The error must be deleted in the engine control unit following error correction with SERDIA, or the tractor may remain in a restricted operating mode.
