Start of injection period in cylinder 6 outside setpoint range or absent. The engine control unit is detecting that the fuel injector for cylinder 6 is either not firing at the correct time (outside the programmed setpoint range) or is failing to fire entirely.

   Connect the tractor to the SERDIA or FENDIAS diagnostic software, read the fault code, and attempt to delete the error to see if it is a hard fault or an intermittent glitch.

   Inspect the wiring harness running from the A051 Engine Control Unit to the cylinder 6 fuel injector for chafing, corrosion, open circuits, or short circuits.

   Verify that the fuel delivery system is providing adequate pressure to the common rail and that there are no blockages or leaks affecting cylinder 6.

   Preparation

   Turn off the tractor, disconnect the battery, and ensure the engine is cool. Clean the area around the fuel rail and cylinder 6 to prevent debris from entering the engine.

   Relieve Pressure

   Safely relieve the high-pressure fuel system.

   Disconnect Components

   Disconnect the electrical connector from the cylinder 6 fuel injector. Remove the high-pressure fuel line connecting the common rail to the injector.

   Remove Injector

   Remove the injector hold-down clamp/bolt. Carefully extract the fuel injector from the cylinder head. (Note: If the injector sleeve is damaged or leaking coolant, it must also be replaced using the specialized Deutz extraction tool).

   Clean and Prep

   Thoroughly clean the injector bore in the cylinder head.

   Install New Injector

   Lubricate the O-rings on the new injector. Seat the injector into the bore and install the hold-down clamp. Torque the hold-down bolt and the high-pressure fuel line fittings to the exact OEM specifications.

   Reassembly

   Reconnect the electrical harness to the injector.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the battery, prime the fuel system, and start the engine. Use the SERDIA or FENDIAS software to clear fault code 1.2.75 and perform a test run to ensure the code does not return.
