Fendt 1.2.80 – ECU EMR2: Voltage supply to EMR actuator out of allowed range.
Issue description
The electrical current or voltage being supplied to the EMR actuator (the rotary magnet and position sensor that controls the engine's control rod) has fallen outside of the normal or permissible operating parameters.

Check the cause
Cycle the ignition OFF, wait, and turn it back ON to see if the error is a hard fault or an intermittent glitch
Check the cable harness and wiring connecting the ECU EMR2 (A022) to the EMR actuator (Y035) for chafing, breaks, or poor connections
Connect the tractor to SERDIA diagnostics to read live data from the EMR actuator
Refer to Chapter 2000 Reg. B - EMR Troubleshooting plan in the Fendt workshop manual for specific pin-out voltage testing
Repair steps
Turn the ignition OFF and then back ON
Turn the ignition OFF and then back ON.
Recheck the system
Recheck the system to see if the error occurs again.
Check the cable harness
Thoroughly check the cable harness between the ECU and the actuator.
Replace ECU EMR2
If the wiring is intact, the voltage supply issue is internal to the control unit. If error occurs again --> replace ECU EMR2.
