Fendt 1.2.93 – ECU EMR2: Internal processing error in ECU EMR2 (batch overflow)

A critical software or internal memory failure within the engine controller. The immediate consequence of this fault is an emergency shutoff, and the engine cannot be started.

   Cycle the ignition power: Switch the ignition OFF, wait a moment, and then switch it back ON

   Attempt to start the tractor to see if the fault code clears or reappears

   If the error persists, connect a laptop with the SERDIA (Deutz) diagnostic software to the tractor's diagnostic port

   Save Existing Data

   Using the SERDIA diagnostic program, extract and save the old data records from the current ECU EMR2 so you do not lose the tractor's specific engine configuration parameters.

   Flash the ECU

   Load/play a new data record onto the ECU EMR2.

   Retest

   Cycle the ignition and test the engine.

   Replace if Necessary

   If the batch overflow error reappears after successfully flashing the new data record, the internal memory of the ECU is permanently corrupted, and the ECU EMR2 must be physically replaced.
