Issue description
The internal self-diagnostic routine of the injection pump's electronic control unit has detected an internal failure (often a RAM/ROM or processing fault). When this fault is triggered, the tractor's system automatically defaults to a "Restricted Power" or "Reduced Power" limp mode to protect the engine.

Check the cause
Check the power supply and ground connections to the A020 Pump Control Unit. The EDC control unit (A021) controls relays K020 and K021 to supply voltage (UB30) to the pump. Verify these relays are functioning properly.
Inspect the wiring harness and connectors (specifically connector X046 at the pump and X047 at the EDC e-box) for chafing, corrosion, or loose pins.
Check the EDC CAN-BUS communication lines between the engine ECU and the injection pump.
Check for related fault codes. For example, code 1.2.B3 indicates a power supply failure to the pump, and 1.2.B4 indicates a CAN message failure.
Verify that the fuel temperature is not excessively high, as overheating can cause the pump electronics to malfunction or log errors.
Repair steps
Disconnect battery
Disconnect the tractor's battery before beginning any electrical work.
Access injection pump
Open the left side of the bonnet to access the Bosch VP44 injection pump (A020).
Test electrical components
