Fendt 1.2.D0 – A051 - ECU, engine control unit (EDC 7): Faulty external pressure sensor / Ambient pressure sensor faulty

The ambient pressure sensor is faulty, which triggers the specific fault code FC:0010 in the Deutz engine diagnostic software (SERDIA).

   Connect the tractor to the FENDIAS or Deutz SERDIA diagnostic software to confirm the active fault code (SERDIA code FC:0010)

   Determine the location of the ambient pressure sensor (note that in many Deutz EMR3 systems, it is integrated directly into the EDC 7 control unit)

   If the engine configuration utilizes an external ambient pressure sensor, inspect the wiring harness and connectors for cable breaks or short circuits

   Connect diagnostic software

   Connect the diagnostic interface and launch the SERDIA or FENDIAS software.

   Verify fault code

   Verify the presence of fault code 1.2.D0 / FC:0010.

   Replace external sensor

   If the tractor utilizes an external ambient pressure sensor, replace the faulty sensor and verify the wiring integrity.

   Test or replace ECU

   If the ambient pressure sensor is integrated into the EDC 7 engine control unit (A051) and has failed internally, the ECU itself will need to be tested, repaired, or replaced.

   Clear fault codes

   Once the sensor or ECU has been addressed, use the SERDIA software to clear/delete the error from the system memory.

   Test run

   Test run the tractor to ensure the fault code does not return.
