15.1.62

Fendt 15.1.62 – Overall System / Tractor (A050 - ECU): Y065 - Raise suspension solenoid valve

Issue description

The function is non-operable due to a 12V supply fault or Raise solenoid actuation faulty, causing the front axle suspension to not function and remain in its last position.

Applies to these machines

  • 922 Vario COM III
  • 924 Vario COM III
  • 927 Vario COM III
  • 930 Vario COM III
  • 933 Vario COM III
  • 936 Vario COM III
  • Fendt 200 V/F/P Vario
  • Fendt 300 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 400 Vario (COM III)
  • Fendt 500 Vario (S4)
  • Fendt 700 Vario (COM III, SCR)
  • Fendt 800 Vario (COM III, S4)
  • Fendt 900 Vario (COM III, S4, Gen6)

Check the cause

  1. Check the 12V supply to the Y065 solenoid valve using the tractor's circuit diagram (typically Sheet 9 or 14)

  2. Perform an acoustic check near the accumulator as oil temperature rises; listen for a flowing sound indicating an emptying accumulator

  3. Verify command override: Note that sending a cab command or externally energizing the Y065 valve will have no effect due to hydraulic pilot-operated non-return valves

Repair steps

  1. Manually Release Pressure

Locate the knurled-head screw on the MVFH [Y065] - Suspension raise solenoid valve and screw it in (open to the left) to manually release pressure. Caution: The chassis may lower immediately, and the rebound accumulator will be relieved.

  2. Access the Valve

Remove the metal panel at the right entry step to access the Y065 solenoid valve located on top of the central control block (ZSB).

  3. Remove the Faulty Valve

Disconnect the electrical harness from the Y065 valve and carefully unthread the valve body from the central control block.

  4. Install the New Valve

Install the replacement solenoid valve and reconnect the electrical harness.

  5. Reassemble

Close the manual release knurled screw and reinstall the metal access panel at the right entry step.

  6. Clear Fault Codes

Turn on the tractor and use the terminal (or FENDIAS / SERDIA diagnostic software) to confirm and delete the stored 15.1.62 fault code.

Parts you might need

(1)
  • Raise suspension solenoid valve (Y065 / MVFH)

Order genuine Fendt replacement valve for Central Control Block (ZSB) using 17-digit VIN. The valve body for SV2 features white chromating and a counterbore.
