Fendt 18.1.1A – OVERALL SYSTEM/TRACTOR: B067 - Sensor, steering angle: Steering angle sensor faulty, Signal fault

The B067 steering angle sensor is delivering an imprecise target value, has mechanical/electrical tolerances that are out of specification, or has suffered a complete signal loss.

   Verify the 8.5 V supply to the sensor, which is routed through the A013 PCB (microfuses) and protected by Fuse 16.

   Locate separation point/connector X1508 on the B067 sensor and check for corrosion, moisture, or broken wires.

   Ensure the sensor linkage and the universal joint on the axle are intact and not physically binding or damaged.

   Access the Sensor

   Detach the steering cylinder protective cover on the right side of the front axle suspension to access the B067 steering angle sensor.

   Disconnect and Remove

   Disconnect the X1508 wiring harness separation point. Unbolt the sensor and its linkage from the axle housing.

   Install the New Sensor

   Mount the replacement B067 sensor and reconnect the X1508 plug. Reinstall the protective cover.

   Mandatory Calibration

   Access the tractor's diagnostic terminal and run Calibration Code 2401 (Steering angle sensor calibration). If the tractor is equipped with VarioGuide, also run Calibration Code 2403 (VarioGuide steering valve calibration).
