   Use a multimeter to test the continuity of the wires between the EDC 7 and injector 4 to confirm or rule out a cable break.

   Test the internal resistance of injector 4 itself to see if the solenoid has failed internally (shorted or open circuit).

   Connect the FENDIAS/SERDIA diagnostic tool to read the specific sub-fault codes (FC:00A5 or 00A6) associated with this error.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes.

   Repair Wiring

   If a short or break is found in the harness during diagnostics, repair the damaged wire using OEM-approved splicing methods or replace the injector wiring harness section.

   Replace Injector

   If the wiring tests good but the injector fails the resistance test, remove the valve cover (if required by the specific Deutz engine model) and extract injector 4. Install the new injector with new sealing rings/washers.

   Reassemble and Bleed

   Reconnect the fuel lines and wiring harness. Bleed the high-pressure fuel system according to the Deutz/Fendt service manual.

   Clear Fault Codes

   Reconnect the battery. Connect the SERDIA diagnostic tool and delete the error codes (FC:00A5, 00A6) from the EDC 7 memory.
