   Verify CAN bus lines communicating with the A051 (EDC 7) module

   Consult the 'EDC control' circuit diagram for your specific tractor's chassis number to trace the CAN wiring path

   Connect the SERDIA / FENDIAS diagnostic software and verify if internal failure code FC:006E is present

   Inspect Wiring and Connectors

   Locate the A051 Engine Control Unit (Bosch EDC 7). Inspect the main wiring harness connectors for pushed-out pins, corrosion, or moisture ingress, which commonly interrupt CAN signals.

   Test CAN Network

   Use a multimeter or oscilloscope to test the CAN-High and CAN-Low lines between the A051 ECU and the central/enhanced control units for continuity, shorts to ground, or shorts to voltage.

   Repair Wiring

   Repair any chafed or broken wires found in the CAN circuit.

   Clear Faults

   Once the physical connection is verified or repaired, use the SERDIA diagnostic tool to clear the fault code (FC:006E) from the tractor's memory.

   ECU Testing

   If the wiring is perfectly intact and the CAN network is healthy but the module still fails to see the messages, the A051 EDC 7 module itself may have an internal fault and will need to be sent out for testing/repair or replaced.
