Fendt 4.1.06 (EDC or EMR) – Transmission Control Unit and Engine Control Unit (EDC or EMR): EST foot throttle rotary position sensor / combi-sensor signal fault
Issue description
The signal from the foot throttle position sensor is too high, too low, or absent for more than 2 seconds, indicating a discrepancy, plausibility error, or complete loss of communication.

Check the cause
Check the 8.5V power supply from the A013 circuit board (specifically fuse 14, 17, or 19 depending on the tractor series)
Inspect the EDC and Transmission control wiring for line discontinuities, corrosion, or shorts between the B029/B055 sensor and the A050/A051 control units
Check the terminal to see if the system is requesting a calibration (frequently associated with calibration code 4005)
Repair steps
Secure the Tractor
Apply the hand brake and turn the ignition ON.
Verify Fuses and Wiring
Locate the A013 circuit board and test the relevant 8.5V fuse (Fuse 14, 17, or 19). Repair any damaged wiring between the foot pedal and the ECU.
Replace the Sensor
If the power supply and wiring are intact but the signal fault persists, replace the B029/B055 foot throttle sensor or the entire accelerator pedal assembly. Remove the bottom right steering column cover to access it.
Clear Faults
Using the tractor's terminal, press and hold the confirm button to clear the active error messages.
Calibrate the New Sensor
Perform an End-Of-Line (EOL) calibration for the new foot throttle/throttle pedal by entering calibration code 4005 into the terminal to calibrate the B055/B029 sensor to the Tractor Management System.
