Fendt 4.1.42 – Transmission Control Unit: B014 - Hall sensor for accumulator shaft speed (partially also defined by 'Hydrostat') — Signal fault

The control unit is not receiving a valid rotational speed or direction signal from the B014 Hall-effect sensor located on the hydrostatic accumulator/collecting shaft.

   Test the connector at the B014 sensor to ensure it is receiving exactly 8.5 volts

   Inspect the A013 fuse block (Fuse 1 or Fuse 16 depending on model) for a blown fuse, which causes a loss of the 8.5 V supply

   Inspect the wiring harness between the B014 sensor and the Transmission ECU for chafing, breaks, or corrosion, particularly at the sensor connector

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and remove the key to ensure the transmission control circuit is unpowered.

   Locate the Sensor

   Locate the B014 Hall sensor on the hydrostatic transmission housing (accumulator/collecting shaft).

   Verify Fuses

   Check and replace the A013 fuse (Fuse 1 or 16) if blown. If the fuse blows again immediately upon key-on, there is a short in the wiring harness that must be repaired first.

   Remove the Faulty Sensor

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the B014 sensor. Unbolt and carefully remove the sensor from the transmission housing.

   Install the New Sensor

   Insert the replacement B014 sensor, ensuring any O-rings or seals are properly seated to prevent transmission fluid leaks. Torque the mounting bolt to OEM specifications.

6. 6

   Reconnect and Clear Codes

   Reconnect the electrical harness. Turn on the ignition, access the tractor's terminal (Variotronic Ti), and clear the stored fault codes.

7. 7

   Test Drive

   Operate the tractor to ensure the transmission shifts out of emergency mode and the fault code does not return.
