Fendt 4.1.59 – Transmission Control Unit (Basic Control Unit / ECU - Component A050): Emergency operation' actuation — Emergency operation activated manually without apparent reason

This code indicates that the tractor's transmission emergency/auxiliary mode has been triggered. This happens either because the operator manually pressed the emergency mode button, or because an electrical fault (such as a short circuit in the switch or wiring) is falsely signaling the control unit. The fault is active only while the condition is present and is not stored in the tractor's fault memory.

   If the tractor remains stuck in emergency mode, disconnect the emergency mode button (S013). If normal operation is restored upon disconnection, the switch is internally shorted. Replace the switch.

   If the fault remains active with the switch disconnected, use a multimeter to trace the wiring from the switch connector back to the transmission control unit/ECU. Locate and repair any damaged or shorted wires in the harness.

   If the switch and wiring are intact, locate the emergency operation relay on the fuse/relay board. Swap it with a known good relay of the same type. If this resolves the issue, replace the relay permanently.
