Fendt 4.1.93 – Transmission Control Modules (A001, A002): Brake pedal left — Data communication fault

The tractor's control system has detected a loss of data communication or an invalid signal from the left brake pedal sensor over the CAN-bus network, causing the Automatic Cruise Control to be disabled.

   Check CAN-bus voltage supply by inspecting fuses F040 and F041 on fuse board A013

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors running from the left brake pedal travel sensor to the A001/A002 twin e-box for chafed wires, loose connections, or corrosion

   Test the brake pedal travel sensor to verify if it is sending a plausible signal

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on the electrical system.

   Fuse Verification

   Locate fuse board A013 and test fuses F040 and F041. Replace them if they are blown.

   Harness Repair

   If physical damage or corrosion is found on the wiring harness between the left brake pedal and the transmission e-box, repair the damaged section or replace the connector pins.

   Sensor Replacement

   If the wiring and fuses are good, locate the pedal travel sensor on the left brake pedal assembly. Disconnect the electrical harness, unbolt the faulty sensor, and install the new OEM replacement sensor.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the battery. Turn the ignition on and use the tractor's terminal or the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to confirm, call up, and delete the stored 4.1.93 fault code.

   Test Drive

   Operate the tractor and engage the Automatic Cruise Control to verify that the data communication fault is resolved and full functionality has returned.
