The B010 Engine Speed Sensor (a Hall-effect sensor) is supplying an implausible speed curve or signal. The system detects that the actual speed differs significantly (often by more than +/- 12%) from the expected engine speed setpoint, forcing the tractor into a restricted emergency mode.

   Check the wiring harness and connector pins at the B010 sensor for corrosion or damage. Verify the 12V supply to the sensor (check fuse A013, specifically fuse 11 or 33 depending on your exact model year).

   With the tractor off and the sensor disconnected at ambient temperature, check the sensor resistance. A healthy sensor typically reads around 450 Ohms (+/- 20 Ohms).

   Check for alternating voltage (AC) output when the gear/engine is turning to ensure the Hall sensor is generating a signal.

   Ensure there is no mechanical fault in the speed selector and that the solenoid valves (Y026, Y027, Y028) are not seized or wrongly wired, as this can cause the speed mismatch that triggers the B010 plausibility error.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.

   Locate and Remove

   Locate the B010 engine speed sensor on the engine block/flywheel housing. Disconnect the electrical harness and unbolt the faulty sensor.

   Install

   Install the new B010 sensor and reconnect the wiring harness securely.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the battery and use the FENDIAS diagnostic tool to clear the inactive fault codes.

   EOL Reprogramming

   Use the dealer diagnostic software to reprogram/recalibrate the standard parameters so the Tractor Management System (TMS) recognizes the new sensor values and exits emergency mode.
